今年からiCommonsの活動を支援して、会報誌の表紙イラストをロフトワークが提供しています。
2月号のイラストが本日仕上がりました！
制作してくれたのは宮越明子さん。
今年6月、クロアチアでiCommonsの世界会議である「iSummit 2007」が開かれるため、アドリア海とレンガ造りの城壁に囲まれた神秘の街「ドゥブロブニク」を彼女独自の黒い繊細な線で表現してくれました。
iCommonsのスタッフからは「absolutely stunning!」とお褒めの言葉をもらいました（笑）
2案提案したのですが、採用できなかった案も
あまりに素敵なのでプリントアウトして
iCommonsのオフィスに飾ってくれるそうです。
日本発のクリエイティブが広がっていくのは本当にうれしいです！

This month’s front cover is designed by Akiko Miyakoshi, from Loftwork, Japan.
Akiko graduated from Vantan Design School. She now works as an illustrator and artist, and hosts exhibitions regularly.
With the fine strokes of her black ballpoint pen, Akiko’s creations transport us to a fantasy world of fairies and dragons. And what a fitting choice of designer for this month’s cover, which is inspired by the age-old city to host our next Summit – Dubrovnik. In the words of the artist, “The stars in the picture represent the commons community, as they brighten the city.”
