Event Details

Delta Blues Audio has officially released NX-2 series on 18 Jan 2019, an Audiophile grade Passive Studio Monitors: Kyoto Metallic Art Edition and Classic Black Edition.

NX-2 is a two-way speaker with an all metallic enclosure, Designer Tony Tam will be there to explain the design structure with various high-resolution music, and to share his design journey and recollections of this beautiful collaboration with Japan’s master craftsman.

Kyoto’s Traditional Hikibaku Art has a long history, whereas various types of Metallic foils or leaves are mixed and glued together in Japanese paper “Washi”, then cut into 0.3mm strips which are eventually woven into fabrics for making traditional Kimono (Traditional Japanese Garment). In recent years, this Nishijin art form has evolved further by mixing with various lacquer and heat processing and applied in various interior design decors.

This stellar Metallic Art collaboration is highly recognized and appreciated by Kyoto Tradition Art Industries Promotion Association. This Metallic Art Collaboration is scheduled to begin its international Exhibition Journey to London, Barcelona, Japan, America and other big cities.
