An experimental unit studying the new "LAYOUT" in the city
along the theme "Participatory Urbanism".
Outline
LAYOUT is an experimental unit three-dimensionally producing experiences of the city in various scales from XS to XL, along the theme of "Participatory Urbanism".
The name “LAYOUT” suggests the definition of editing, or “what, where and how to arrange” things. We aim to make a better “LAYOUT” of the city by embedding individual ideas, and intervene in the city that was once made by a top-down approach. We are a unit involving various urbanists in continuous collaboration to rewrite the “everyday life in the city”.
